The financial year just finished saw us support the Alzheimer's Society as our charity of the year and we raised an amazing £5767.04 through a series of fund raising events, dressing up at nuns etc. I believe this is the most the club has ever raised for it's charity. So well done to everyone.

As our juniors go from strength to strength they are starting to enjoy some really successful runs and triathlons, winning events and getting podium finishes, which is great. It rewards all their efforts at training and inspires both themselves and the other juniors. Success is infectious.

For a while now Tony Cotton has been winning his age category 75-79 at events up and down the country, but recently Tony took his successful running one stage further. At the Silverstone 10K on the 7th May Tony ran the second fastest time ever in his 75-79 age category in the 31 year history of the the Silverstone event.

BRJ's junior triathletes had an outstanding weekend at the Duston triathlon in Northampton. Our juniors were competing against more than 350 young triathletes from all over the Eastern region and beyond. Your juniors got 5 top three places out of just 10 entrants with an amazing two juniors winning their age triathlon Championships.
